Wow, this was really fun to draw. ^w^ I created this character design on a whim though so that's kinda shameful of me. XD;
This is for 's element contest. 1 down, 1 to go. @_@;;
Even if I don't finish in time or don't win, I'm glad to say that this was really fun. :3 and I learned alot of things. Like when you're drawing in Photoshop and you want smooth lines, go to the brush tab (find it, you will) and lower the spacing to 1. Spacing is what keeps your subject in your brush apart from the next one. Very high spacing can lead to dotted lines. Get it now?
As for Chaos's design, her jacket ends with a design that kinda looks like butteflywings. This has to do with a reference to Chaos theory, which states, for example, that if butterflies over a large area flapped their wings at the same time, it could cause hurricanes or natural wind disasters. Also, I know the skirt is lame but I needed something simple to go under those wings.
You can call her Chaos or give her another name. Only has the right to use this character in a drawing if she wants or decide if someone else can.
Chaos can change into outfits the suit the area she is in but she will always have an object that is black and gray like her rope belt and her outfit will always have either black, red and beige in it. You can have fun with this.
What powers does she have? Well, everywhere she goes leaves a trail of calamity of some sort. From poverty to disasters, she's probably responsible. How? Well, you'll have to decide. XD
Also, just pretend that ALL her toenails are white. ^_~ Hehehe....
You know, everytime I look at her, the song "Everything little thing she does is Magic" by The Police rings in my mind.
EDIT: I changed the ugly skirt to a loin cloth. Raven from Teen Titans + monk from Ragnarok Online + mage from Ragnarok Online. D:
HOW does she cause chaos? Simply by being there, probably. D: Like, worse than a million black cats crossing your path as you walk under a ladder and knock over the guy on top of it, who happened to be carrying a VERY big mirror which breaks. o_o
There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
